We are Unleashing Untapped Talents Flag Football, a premier youth flag football organization proudly part of NFL Flag. Our teams are dedicated to girls and boys aged 6-17, focusing on skill development, competitive play, and creating a fun learning environment.
We offer both a recreational league, for those that are just beginning their flag football journey via the seasonal NFL Flag. As well as competitive, tournament program, known as the ST Mafia for the athletes that are ready to take it to the next level.

We strive to instill the M.A.F.I.A. way in our young athletes through values of Discipline, Teamwork, Sportsmanship, and Dedication, preparing them not only for success in flag football but also for life’s challenges ahead. Our goal is to come together as one family, bound by our love for flag football and the growth of our youth. And to realize their true talents by seeking the Lord and honing in on the gifts that He has provided.

Our Story
Prior to the creation of Unleashing Untapped Talents, there was a journey of both boys and girls competitive travel flag football. James has coached both his son’s and daughter’s flag teams in local leagues as well as travel tournaments. Through time he grew to learn all the aspects of coordinating, learning, and organizing a team to best compete in tournaments around the country. Then, another coaching opportunity arose, allowing him to share his passion with his friends’ daughters. Several championships later, MAFIA was born!
MISSION & VALUES
At UUT, every child is valued and supported as an integral part of our family. We strive to instill the M.A.F.I.A. way in our young athletes through values of Discipline, Teamwork, Sportsmanship, and Dedication, preparing them not only for success in flag football but also for life’s challenges ahead. We chose to become a non-profit to provide an opportunity for youth athletes that may not have access to premiere services otherwise. And/or to help prevent financial burdens on our families.

Mafia plays in at least 6 tournaments a year, based on each team’s availability.
Mafia season runs yearly from April – March.
Attendance requirements are 75% of tournaments and practices.
NFL hosts practices just prior to morning games on adjacent field or upon coaches request.
Mafia practices are typically held at 5400 W Tarpon St, Tampa
Up to 3 days per week which includes a team practice and specialty skills training
NFL includes jersey & flags.
Mafia includes uniforms, bags, flags, tournament fees, discounted pricing for NFL Flag seasonal league, and more.
We feel that everyone deserves an opportunity to Tap into their Talents regardless of financial situation. Expenses are offset through Fundraising and Sponsorships with everyones efforts.
